comparison of ovsynch and progesterone-based protocol for induction of synchronized ovulation and conception rate in subestrous buffalo during low-breeding season
Authors
abstract
the objective of the present study was to compare the impact of ovsynch and progesterone-based ovulation synchronization protocol on ovarian response and conception in buffalo (n=19) exhibiting subestrus during low-breeding season (maximum ambient temperatures and relative humidity ranging from 36-45°c and 30-80%, respectively). group i buffalo (n=10) were administered ovsynch protocol (d 0 and d 9, 20 μg buserelin acetate; d 7, 500 μg cloprostenol sodium; i.m.) followed by ai on days 9 and 10. during the same period, another group of buffalo (n=9) were administered intravaginal progesterone (1.38 g) for 10 days along with the administration (i.m.) of 500 μg cloprostenol sodium on day 9 and 20 μg buserelin acetate on day 11, followed by ai on days 12 and 13. with ovsynch, all the buffalo ovulated in response to 1st gnrh and had functional cl (plasma progesterone, 1.61±0.23 ng/ml; corpus luteum, cl, 11.36±0.67 mm) on day 7. thereafter, subsequent to 2nd gnrh, five buffalo ovulated within 24 h and the remaining five between 24 to 48 h. in comparison, with progesterone-based protocol, a better synchronization of ovulation (p

full textTiming Ovulation in Ewes Treated with Ovsynch Different Times of PGF2 αInjection during the Breeding Season
This study was carried out at Sakha Animal Production Research Station, during the period from Oct., 2009 to Sept., 2010. Forty Rahmani ewes were divided into three treatment groups: the 1st, 2nd and 3rd treatment groups were intramuscularly injected (Day 0) with 1 mL GnRH analogue followed by an intramuscular injection with 0.7 mL PGF2α5 (G1), 6 (G2) or 7 (G3) days later. A second dose of 1 mL...
full textdevelopment and implementation of an optimized control strategy for induction machine in an electric vehicle
in the area of automotive engineering there is a tendency to more electrification of power train. in this work control of an induction machine for the application of electric vehicle is investigated. through the changing operating point of the machine, adapting the rotor magnetization current seems to be useful to increase the machines efficiency. in the literature there are many approaches wh...
15 صفحه اولsimulation and experimental studies for prediction mineral scale formation in oil field during mixing of injection and formation water
abstract: mineral scaling in oil and gas production equipment is one of the most important problem that occurs while water injection and it has been recognized to be a major operational problem. the incompatibility between injected and formation waters may result in inorganic scale precipitation in the equipment and reservoir and then reduction of oil production rate and water injection rate. ...
assessment of deep word knowledge in elementary and advanced iranian efl learners: a comparison of selective and productive wat tasks
testing plays a vital role in any language teaching program. it allows teachers and stakeholders, including program administrators, parents, admissions officers and prospective employers to be assured that the learners are progressing according to an accepted standard (douglas, 2010). the problems currently facing language testers have both practical and theoretical implications but the first i...
